Watching Over Us

Mixed Media: Printmaking (Linoleum relief printing and collagraph), acrylic painting, including iridescent and iridescent interference paints, and color pencil.

Camping overnight at Pryamid Lake, Nevada, we were awoke by an eagle in the middle of the night. It moved around a ring of boulders that surrounded our camp. The distinctive cry moved from boulder to boulder until it pearched on a boulder about 15 feet away from our sleeping bags.  We were in disbelief when it became visible, in silhoulette against a blanket of stars. It was a magic moment.  Then it was gone.

April 22 was EARTH  DAY. Everyday is an opportunity to think  about your individual impact and contribution to the planet’s environment. We all make a difference but it is a choice as to whether it a difference toward goodness or harm.
