Printmaking: Original Mixed-Process Monoprints by Douglas E. Taylor

These are new one-of-a-kind hand pulled prints involving several processes.  The various printmaking processes utilized in these four monoprints are collagraph, dry-point, counter proofing, embossment and relief printing.

All three are 20.75 x 29.685 inches on heavy rag printmaking paper (Arches Cover) and are $1,060 each, unframed.

Felicity II

The hand writing seen in these images are part of the Felicity Poem.
Some of the writing is from dry-point plates and some are counter proofs of the dry-point plates imagery.  The counter proof hand writing can be read normally.  The backwards writing is directly from dry-point intaglio plates.  Every mark was created with a printmaking process. The imagery is inspired by aspen trees and leaves.
