Fine Art Photographs of nature and the wilderness environment by Mark Shaffer Mitchell

Contemplative and often used as a focus of meditation, these sensitive images bring you to that quiet place we all seek in our natural spirit.

Vista Gallery is pleased to premiere these fine images by
Mark Shaffer Mitchell.

All of these archival photographs are printed 18 x 28 inches.  The fine art photographs are signed and numbered by the artist in a small edition of only 36 images. Because of the small edition size the prices increase as the editions sells.
The unframed premiere price is $160.
The sooner an image is collected, the lower the price will be. Every sale increases the value. We will attempt to keep current with the individual prices on this site.  Because of the nature of collecting, individual pieces can find happy collectors at any time and prices must be adjusted each transaction.

Mark Shaffer Mitchell is very prolific and produces a series of related images for each wilderness experience and location. Because of the high resolution digital camera and laser printing process he uses, the images are detailed and rich in texture and tone. He applies his plein air painting background to composes in the field and does not crop the prints in the lab. This process produces a thoughtful and “present” sense of witness.  The depth of field accomplished seems to absorb a richer visual experience that can only be felt in the out of doors, in nature.
