www.artsfortheschools.org Arts For The Schools incorporated in 1984, is a community supported, volunteer, non-profit organization which provides artistic, educational and cultural opportunities for students, residents, and guests in Lake Tahoe. AFtS presents a diversity of high quality performing and multi-cultural art events year around. For the past 15 years, Arts For The Schools has been bringing artists into local schools to teach special art classes and organizing cultural and artistic events for the community. Beyond the Lights - AFTS, valuable programs don't stop with what you experience in the theatre. Many of our world-class artists also share their talents with our students, and families and community in a variety of activities such as school visits, field trips, master classes and workshops. Note cards that benefit Arts For The Schools are sold year round at Vista Gallery as well as their event tickets for the various performances by international artists.

www.breweryarts.org The Brewery Arts Center (BAC) is Carson City's local arts agency and community arts center. Situated within the downtown district in a historic set of rehabilitated buildings, formerly the Carson Brewing Company, the organization offers more than 130 cultural events yearly in theater, music, vocal performance, dance, literature and visual art.
The Center offers a full complement of art classes and workshops in visual and performing arts for children and adults. The BAC is home to the Ash Canyon Poets, the Carson Sierra Spinners, the Carson chapter of the Nevada Artists Association, the Proscenium Players Community Theater Company, BAC Stage Kids and the Sierra Early Music Society.
