When I was a child I understood the magic
Of being part of the sky
Being not articulate
I could not explain
How the clouds sail and fade,
How the birds flew or sunshine was made
Being a person of the ground
Looking up to the blue and stars
Is a fish a part of the water
 and a bird a piece of the sky?
I was tied with strings to wonder
Like a kite held by dreaming hands
By a thin line, as long
As it understands
