Arts For The Schools incorporated in 1984, is a community supported, volunteer, non-profit organization which provides artistic, educational and cultural opportunities for students, residents, and guests in Lake Tahoe. AFtS presents a diversity of high quality performing and multi-cultural art events year around. For the past 15 years, Arts For The Schools has been bringing artists into local schools to teach special art classes and organizing cultural and artistic events for the community. Beyond the Lights - AFTS, valuable programs don't stop with what you experience in the theatre. Many of our world-class artists also share their talents with our students, and families and community in a variety of activities such as school visits, field trips, master classes and workshops. Note cards that benefit Arts For The Schools are sold year round at Vista Gallery as well as their event tickets for the various performances by international artists
