Note the swirling embossment of the white hand and gold-metalic ink lines in the stars.

The printing processes on the eight plates used were mostly dry point (scrathing directly into the plate) and carborundum surfaces (a toothy application applied, like liquid sand paper that grabs ink on the printing plate in certain ways)
