William Carr was born on March first in a suburb of Los Angeles. It was clear to William, as a youth, that the art of creative expression would become his path and he aspired to become skilled at the disciplines that brought him maximum fulfillment and purpose. Extremely gifted artistically, William, a self-taught aficionado in music, fine art, digital design and photography, is a man of many talents and interests. He has nurtured his creativity by deeply exploring things that fascinate and absorb him.
William’s worldwide travels are partly responsible for his inherent fascination with old world antiquity. “I’m drawn to the elaborate artistic traditions of Europe, the attention to design, detail, and disciplined craftsmanship that evokes a complete sensory experience!” William values quality in all aspects of life and work.
Remarkably creative in photography, William’s best work often comes from just the right blend of solitude and mystery. William’s landscapes first gained tremendous success and popularity in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Soon, his notoriety grew and now he is the most widely sold photographer in the world.
“I’ve always had a greater than average instinct for seeing beauty in art and nature.” says William. “I have a yearning for new experiences in remote, exotic places and have always been a very intuitive observer. Photographing my surroundings and sharing them has enabled me to extend my life’s adventures far beyond their original experience!”

William and wife Victoria made New Harmony, Utah their permanent home and began sharing their spectacular journeys worldwide. Utah became an infinite source of William’s inspiration and photographic imagery. “The time carved valleys of geological formations are equal in complexity to the cathedrals of Europe. One created by tireless human labor, the other, created effortlessly by nature” claims William.
