Tony Spiker discovered photography 10 years ago when he joined the Navy, where he proudly served as a photographer on board the USS Tarawa. After 5 years of active duty, he joined the Naval Reserves and is currently stationed with Combat Camera Group Pacific as a still combat photographer. In between deployments to the Middle East, Tony owns and operates Vista Gallery and Framing with his wife, Melissa.
Struck by the artistry of the Master, Ansel Adams, Tony concentrates his efforts on black and white photography. He is thrilled and inspired by the artistic freedom that the black and white medium provides. His images are filled with an intensity and drama that is reminiscent of the Master himself. We also have a selection of color images that Tony has produced.
