Renee Rose enjoys the process is making art, “the never-ending creativity which wells up when I stay open to my muse.” She enjoys the continuous learning involved in making ceramics: there are so many different clays, glazes and styles of firing that she can incorporate into her creations.

Here at Vista Gallery and Framing, we are pleased to offer many of Renee’s raku, saggar-fired, and pit-fired pieces. She specializes in natural looking pieces; instead of over-glazing the clay, she uses fire, smoke, oxides and chemical salts to provide color to her work. Her love of nature and terrain can be seen in her use of earth tones and textures.
