Peter Spain is a North Lake Tahoe photographer who specializes in landscape images of the Eastern and North East shore of Lake Tahoe, where he has become intimate with the lake from his many kayak trips along the shore. This affords him a special perspective of the lake, not seen by most people and allows him to capture many of his famous water images of Lake Tahoe. His photography is a direct result of his candid personality and is influed by his love for travel and sports.

Peter’s photographs have appeared in many regional and national magazines, editorials and covers. A strong advocate with the League to Save Lake Tahoe, he annually donates time and images, and was just recently named an official “Lake Guardian.”

After graduating from San Francisco State, Peter moved to Lake Tahoe in 1997 to pursue his career in photography and living in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
