Gayle Rappaport-Weiland has had a year of dreams coming true. She has joined the Board of California Contemporary Arts of Sacramento. She is proud that her “Dreamscape Series” has been featured in Cheap Joe 2012 Art Catalogs. Gayle’s floral artwork “Flow” has been licensed nationally by Home Goods stores. 2010 she was chosen as the KVIE Watercolor Division Juror. As an on-air art expert she opened the show… Paying it forward is one of Gayle’s life goals. Her work on the breast cancer awareness art piece “Soul Survivor: Symbol of Hope” with Gini Crepps was featured on the TV show Rob on the Road.

Gayle brings the same originality, passion and heart to her paintings as she does to her life. Using rule-breaking techniques that set her apart from the crowd, she creates signature impressionistic works, using watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media. Her qualifications and expertise, as an artist, talented teacher, curator, speaker, demonstrator and consultant are widely recognized and respected.

Gayle’s paintings have been exhibited in galleries and exhibitions throughout the United States. Her paintings are represented by the artist herself “Blue line Gallery” in Roseville, “Mendocino Art Center Gallery” in Mendocino, D’Vine Furniture & Design” Rocklin. Her newest representation by Vista Gallery in Tahoe she feels will be a fabulous collaboration, all located in California.

Collectors throughout the United States proudly hold her work. Her work was juried into the1993-2003 K.V.I.E. Channel 6 Art Auction. Gayle was honored to be selected as a Special Collection Artist, 2004/05/07/08/09/10 a Legacy Artist and 2006 a Silver Anniversary Artist .2011 she has been chosen as part of California Masters.

Gayle has been voted Best Visual Artist by the Sacramento News and Review, and Favorite Visual Artist by the Sierra Style Magazine. “Studio Voltaire” picked her art up for licensing representation. Many accolades follow this artist.

Gayle earned a BSE in Recreation with an art focus. The past of The Gold Country Fine Arts Center; she involves herself in the local art, education and business community. She’s served on the advisory board for the 1996 – 2011 K.V.I.E. Live Art Auction originally creating the framing program, talent training and acting as on air art expert. 1998, she demonstrated her painting techniques live on Channel 6. Gayle’s hosting talents, artwork and demonstration were profiled on talk show “All about Art”. HGTV filmed and aired Gayle’s art wall for the show “Look What I Did” Gayle has been interviewed on radio, television, and been written about in many newspapers and art publications.
